Current occupation & training: 

​

MA Automotive Journalism Student at Coventry University. 

​

- Covered news stories and visited automotive firms across the country, delivering content. 

​

- Includes press drive with the Genesis GV70 Electrified and a tour of the Alvis Car Company (Red Triangle) workshop and facilities.

​

Content Writer for Hotcars

​

- Regular articles that grabs the readers' attention on subjects that matter to the relevant target audience.

​

- Provides experience on writing Americanisms and learning when and where to use different spellings and phrases.

​

​

Qualifications: 

​

- Upper Second Class BA Honours Degree in Journalism at the University of Lincoln. Accredited by the National Centre for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) and the Broadcast Journalism Training Centre (BJTC). 

​

​

- NCTJ Diploma, with training in journalism law, ethics and regulation as well as print, radio and broadcast.

​

​

- BJTC Certificate, covering training in broadcast journalism. 

​

​

- Four A-Levels in History, Media Studies, Film Studies, and research project on electric cars for an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). From Bilborough Sixth Form College, Nottingham.

Past work experience:

Writer & Content Creator: DriveTribe (September 2019 - January 2022). 

- 5.5m total page views on my content. 

- Some approved (via a badge) from James May. 

- Articles regularly made the home page.

​

News journalist and presenter: Siren Radio (September 2019 - April 2021).  

- Presented hourly bulletins live on air. 

- Written, researched, and recorded news stories important to the local area and sometimes national. 

- Covered the General Election in December 2019 - interviewed candidates and sent the rushes back to base.

Freelance Writer: Supercar Blondie (July 2022 - )

 

- A few articles published, but the team is rearranging the site before allowing freelancers back on!)
